Wedding

After attending so many weddings (21 in the 3 previous years) and following lots of wedding blogs, we knew what we wanted as soon as we got engaged. The theme of our day was pretty much "us", and I created our identity with the phrase we used for the wedding. From the entrance to the favors everything had a handmade touch. I created a large papercut of our identity to greet guests, which matched the invitation we had sent out. Unfortunately the identity didn't make it onto our save the dates, but our underwater engagment photos made them great on their own.

So many details for the day including: cake topper flags, ribbon decor, vintage handkerchiefs, vintage bottles, vintage pool balls for table numbers, kids table decorations, fabric flowers for guests to wear, programs, signs, family photos, straws, stumps, furniture, custom paint by numbers, custom printed pint glasses, cotton candy and a large succulent topiary. Alana, from Love Me Simple, did a fantastic job of executing all of my handmade details the day of based on the set up sketches I provided. Many designs were executed by friends and family: Luke's Papa crafted a large wooden sign to hang over the gazebo, my Grandpa made our money tree out of manzanita branches and cut all of our stumps and my mom made the incredible topiary out of succulents for our escort cards.
